DroneSense is seeking a proven National Sales Manager to lead and scale our Account Management team and Regional Account Executives across the United States. 

This role is responsible for driving revenue performance, coaching and developing sales talent, and ensuring consistent execution across the full customer lifecycle—from new logo acquisition to expansion and long-term retention. You will play a critical role in translating company strategy into day-to-day execution while building a high-performing, customer-centric sales organization. 

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of sales leadership, public sector experience, and operational discipline, with a demonstrated ability to run structured enterprise sales motions in support of public safety agencies. 

What You Do

  • Directly manage a team of Regional Account Executives and Account Managers, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management. 
  • Own team-level revenue attainment across new business, renewals, and expansion within the U.S. market. 
  • Partner with Sales Operations and leadership to establish clear targets, forecasts, and performance metrics. 
  • Implement and reinforce repeatable sales processes aligned with public sector buying cycles. 
  • Ensure consistent understanding and utilization of MEDDIC across the team for deal qualification, inspection, and forecasting. 
  • Lead regular deal reviews focused on MEDDIC rigor, risk identification, and next-step clarity. 
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product to align messaging, execution, and customer outcomes. 
  • Ensure the team maintains a deep understanding of U.S. public safety workflows, procurement processes, and operational realities. 
  • Represent DroneSense at industry events, leadership meetings, and key customer engagements as needed. 
  • What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or revenue roles, with 2+ years leading sales teams
  • Proven success managing teams responsible for new logo acquisition and account expansion
  • Experience selling into US public Sector, government, or public satety markets
  • Strong command of complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
  • Demonstrated experience coaching teams on MEDDIC or similar qualification frameworks
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable operating in a fact-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence both customers and internal stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 40%
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing Account Management and Regional AE teams together. 
  • Familiarity with public safety technology, DFR programs, or drone-related platforms. 
  • Experience scaling teams, territories, or sales processes during periods of growth. 
  • Background in SaaS, GovTech, or mission-critical software environments. 
  • Experience working closely with Solutions Engineering and Customer Success teams. 
  • *DroneSense employs full time US citizens or naturalized citizens from a NATO country, who are current residents in one of the 50 contiguous United States.
