Job description:
- Review current ETL processes – A DataStage extract from current Oracle DW to Netezza has been partially developed for the historical one-time dataload. This process needs to be reviewed and possibly leveraged to create daily delta loads from Oracle DW to Netezza.
- Develop one-time ETL extract for historical data – Would like to leverage any coding from Task #1 and/or develop new DataStage coding to develor and finalize the one-time historical data extract from the Oracle DW. It is required that approximately 2000 tables across 9 different schemas be loaded into Netezza.
- Develop logic for the Materialized Views within Netezza – There are approximately 200 Oracle MV’s that must be redesigned on the Netezza platform.
- Develop nightly ETL extracts from Oracle DW to Netezza – Need to develop nightly extracts using the Oracle DW as an interim data source. A future phase will be required to extract this data from the original source systems once the Oracle DW has been decommissioned and ETBF converted to Oracle EBS.
- Develop nightly extracts from Oracle EBS to Netezza – There are approximately 30 tables that must be sourced directly from Oracle EBS for the scope of this phase of the project.
- Develop data loads from Netezza Prod to Netezza test – It is required that the production Netezza data is also loaded onto the Netezza test appliance for DR and failover purposes.
