THE OPPORTUNITY

Michigan Central is seeking a Network Coordinator to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to advancing Michigan Central’s mission by efficiently running, curating, and planning for the network of people at Michigan Central. Being a part of the network at Michigan Central provides access to our innovation ecosystem including partners, flexible space, insights and newsletters, high profile speakers, technical events, and community gatherings.

The ideal candidate will possess entrepreneurial skills including operations, business planning, sales, and marketing. You will be responsible for executing on the strategy, building and growing the model, and overseeing day-to-day operations. You will give input into the overall strategy of the network at Michigan Central, while owning much of the back-end operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run the day-to-day backend operations of the network, including things like data reconciliation, financial forecasting, movement of member desks, and maintaining an accurate member product database
  • Interact daily with existing and potential members of the network doing things like incoming tours, onboarding, orientation, billing, and technical support
  • Coordinate with other Michigan Central teams like IT, business operations, compliance, and accounting on managing back-end systems and procurement processes
  • Support the ideation and development of member engagement programming and events that support community and skill building
  • Recruit new members leveraging the Michigan Central marketing and communications team
  • Support the preparation and management of the monthly P&L forecast and budget
  • Work highly collaboratively with cross functional teams including other membership programs such as Newlab

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have a bachelor's degree preferably in business
  • You have at least four years of experience in building and managing new programs
  • You have an entrepreneurial track record, preferably in innovation ecosystems
  • You can thrive in a collaborative team environment while working independently under tight deadlines
  • You bring solution-oriented thinking with a client-first approach
  • You have familiarity delivering a unique customer experience and managing customer needs
