Network Engineer

Role: Network Engineer

Location: San Jose CA or Plano, TX

Duration: Fulltime

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes

•At least 4 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Solution Definition/Solution Deployment/Solution Deployment

•At least 5 years of experience understanding of Data Center architectures, and hands-on experience in Planning, design & implementation of DC

• At least 5 years of experience in Cisco ACI, Integrating Layer 2, Layer 3, L4-L7 and VMware with ACI.

• At least 3 years of experience with Cisco Nexus platform (9K, 7K, 6K, 5K) and Catalyst switches.

• Experience with Datacenter Migration Planning and Execution. Hands-on experience of configuring and troubleshooting routing and Switching (Protocols – OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)

• Experience on the Cisco UCS (UCS Manager)

• Experience on Load balancer (F5 and Citrix) and ASA Firewall.

• Knowledge of VMware/Hypervisor and Nexus 1000v Networking.

• Knowledge Scripting in XML, JSON and Python.

• Knowledge of VMDC, Flex Pod and VBlock

• Knowledge on understanding of Data Center Virtualization preferred

• Analytical and Communication skills

Additional Information

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
