Design, implement, integrate, and verify software to control and configure both existing Wireless Access Points (cWAP) and new Wireless Access Point (xWAP) using interfaces currently supported and ones that will be supported in the future. (REST, SSH, SNMP, CLI, Web UI)
Design, implement, integrate, and verify software to configure both existing and new Wireless Access Points (cWAP and xWAP) to support Passpoint authentication using preinstalled profiles and credentials on client devices.
Design, implement, integrate, and verify software to configure both existing and new Wireless Access Points (cWAP and xWAP) to support 802.1x authentication supporting EAP-SIM, EAP-AKA, EAP-TLS, and EAP-TTLS protocols as well as open authentication.
Develop and maintain documentation for software designs, implementations, and testing procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of networking solutions with other systems and applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues related to wireless access points and authentication protocols.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain high-quality software standards.
Stay up-to-date with emerging wireless technologies and industry standards to incorporate innovative solutions into product development.
Optimize software performance and scalability for large-scale wireless network deployments.
Contribute to the development of networking tools and utilities to improve efficiency and productivity within the team.
Assist in the creation and execution of test plans to ensure software reliability and security.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on networking and software development best practices.
