We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and motivated Nurse Manager to lead a dedicated team of nurses in our Endoscopy Suite at Epworth Eastern. The suite has three procedural rooms and a CSSD room/ processing room and supports cases in main theatre.

The Nurse Manager will provide clinical and professional leadership to the team who are committed to providing individualised care with our strategic focus that every patient matters.

Key focus areas for this role include:

  • Delivering exceptional experience in accordance with Epworth values
  • Ensuring patient flow is managed whilst providing high standards of patient care
  • Building and nurturing a strong capable workforce within the unit
  • Promoting and supporting ongoing learning and education for all staff within the unit
  • Recruiting, retention, professional development of staff, financial management and occupational health and safety
  • Supporting the goals and strategy of the organisation

To be successful in this role……

  • Have current nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Exhibit a high level understanding of Endoscopy procedures
  • Be an experienced clinical leader, capable of supporting and engaging staff, committed to providing exceptional high quality care to patients
  • Experience promoting and supporting ongoing learning and education for your team
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing environments
  • Possess strong communication and customer liaison skills
  • Demonstrated ability in financial management and understanding of budgets.
  • Related Post Graduate qualifications (clinical or leadership) desirable

Located in Box Hill, Epworth Eastern is a state-of-the-art facility and includes a 12 bed ICU, 10 bed CCU and 14 theatres. Epworth Eastern maintains a broad clinical focus from cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic and general surgery to oncology, urology and endoscopy services.
