Occupational Therapist - School-Based

Pay Rate: $65 to $80 per hour based on experience

Job Type: Full time. March-June

Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to work in a school-based setting. This role will involve working with students to enhance their daily living skills and improve their functionality within the school environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' success.
• Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
• Monitor and report on student progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators and parents
• Effective organizational and time management skills
