Speech Language Pathologist K-5

Boston Speech Therapy is excited to invite applications for the role of Speech Language Pathologist for grades K-5. In this position, you will provide essential speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and enhance their academic success. This is a full-time position, a 1099 contract until the end of the year.

As a speech-language pathologist at Boston Speech Therapy, you will work closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans that align with each student's unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech and language abilities.
  • Create and implement tailored treatment plans to address specific communication goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, collaborating with teachers and staff to support their learning.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
  • Educate families about speech and language development and effective communication strategies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with K-5 students and familiarity with the educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Commitment to best practices in speech and language therapy
