About the Opportunity
Start Date: June 1st, 2026
Length of Fellowship: 10 months
Location Type: Hybrid
The future of sustainability depends on smarter, faster, and more accessible public transit, and we’re looking for someone ready to help make that a reality. As an Operations Analyst in the Climate Corps Fellowship program, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to impactful, sustainable transportation initiatives with Capitol Corridor.
This is a hybrid position with the expectation of onsite work 4 days per week. There are occasional station audits, train tours, and local meetings, some of which may fall outside standard business hours.
In this role, you’ll serve as a critical support function for the day-to-day operations and delivery of CCJPA train service, directly impacting ridership growth and service improvements. You work with the Operations team to help drive the Tap2Ride program, an initiative expanding train access via contactless payment, while engaging with all facets of a small public transportation group, including operations, planning, finance, and marketing.
This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your professional skills, grow your network, contribute to Capitol Corridor's sustainability goals, and the chance to help lead the charge on next-generation transit.
