The Operations Project Manager supports cross-functional initiatives that improve operational performance through strong project discipline—scoping, planning, execution tracking, stakeholder alignment, change support, and post-launch follow-through. This role brings structure to ambiguity, translates operational needs into clear workplans, and helps ensure initiatives are delivered on time with measurable outcomes.
Working closely with Operations, Finance Ops, Customer Support, Recovery, Product, and Tech, the role coordinates timelines, facilitates working sessions, consolidates risks and progress updates, and ensures rollout readiness for priority initiatives. Decisions are owned collaboratively with functional owners, while OPEX provides governance and removes blockers as needed.

Your Impact: What You’ll Do

  • Project Leadership & Delivery
  • Lead assigned operational improvement initiatives (process, policy, systems, automation, controls) from initiation to closure within agreed scope.
  • Define project scope, goals, success metrics, timelines, RAID, and governance cadence in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain project plans (milestones, owners, deadlines) and drive accountability through regular follow-ups.
  • Manage project trade-offs across scope, timeline, and quality—escalating risks early with recommended options.
  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
  • Help identify root causes of operational pain points and quantify impact using existing data sources (time, cost, error rate, SLA/TAT).Facilitate process mapping (as-is/to-be), document SOPs/checklists/controls, and support implementation with process owners.
  • Support standardization by reinforcing agreed workflows and documenting updates consistently.
  • Automation & Systems Enablement
  • Partner with Product/Tech/Analytics to translate operational requirements into clear functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Support UAT planning/execution: test cases, defect logging, follow-ups, and sign-offs.
  • Support rollouts through training coordination, comms drafts, job aids, and post-implementation monitoring/hypercare tracking.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Align stakeholders on priorities, decision points, deliverables, and timelines for assigned initiatives.
  • Run effective working sessions and leadership updates; communicate progress, blockers, risks, and decisions clearly.
  • Support change adoption through practical implementation planning and frontline readiness.
  • Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement
  • Track agreed KPIs/SLAs and consolidate reporting (in partnership with Analytics when needed) to validate impact.
  • Conduct post-mortems, document learnings, and recommend follow-up enhancements based on data and feedback.
  • Maintain complete project documentation and versioning for continuity and auditability.
  • What We’re Looking For: Skills & Experience

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Information System, or related field.2–4 years experience in project management/coordinator-to-PM track, operations support, process improvement support, or implementation delivery.
  • Experience delivering cross-functional initiatives involving Operations/Customer Support/Finance Operation/Product/Tech is a plus.
  • Technical Skills
  • Strong project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, RAID, governance, stakeholder coordination).Proficiency in project tracking/documentation tools (Jira/Confluence, Notion, Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word, Slides/PPT).Ability to interpret operational data for decision-making (trend analysis, operational reporting).Process mapping and documentation (SOPs, flowcharts, RACI/swimlanes as needed).Basic SQL/BI familiarity (BigQuery, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills
  • Structured thinker; can turn messy problems into executable plans.
  • Strong follow-through and bias for action; drives delivery with minimal supervision.
  • Clear communicator; able to engage both leaders and frontline teams.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management; can align competing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and practical—focuses on what will work in operations.
  • Optional Skills
  • Familiarity with Agile/hybrid delivery concepts (user stories, backlog, UAT cycles).Lean Six Sigma or PMP/PRINCE2 (nice to have, not required).Experience in high-volume operations (fintech lending, collections/recovery, finance ops) is a plus.
