We are searching for an Organic Brand & Authority Specialist focused on strengthening Studyportals’ authority signals, brand visibility, and off-page growth across search and AI ecosystems. Studyportals HQ is in Strijp-S, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. This role follows a hybrid setup with flexibility to work remotely 3 days a week.

You grow that authority through social media, PR, content amplification, and high-quality references keeping Studyportals a trusted global guide for students choosing education.
What are your three main goals?
- Build Student Thought Leadership: Position Studyportals as a global authority on student choice by collaborating with the social media and PR team to publish insights through publications, social channels, partnerships, and industry conversations.
- Strengthen Brand Authority: Grow high-quality backlinks, brand mentions, and community presence to increase branded search demand and close the authority gap with competitors.
- Prepare for AI-Era Discovery: Strengthen entity and authority signals so Studyportals is more frequently cited and trusted by AI systems and search engines.
What does your team look like?
You report to the Head of Product and work within the Growth & SEO team. The team includes a Senior SEO Specialist, Growth Product Owner, and a Content Editor managing freelancers. You collaborate closely with social media, B2B Marketing (PR), and the broader Product Engineering team of ~30 people. You help grow Studyportals’ authority not only through backlinks, but also through thought leadership, partnerships, social amplification, and digital PR.
What are your responsibilities and tasks?
- Own and execute Studyportals’ authority growth strategy. Including, monitoring brand mentions and converting unlinked mentions into backlinks.
- Support student thought leadership content across social media, publications, and partnerships.
- Monitor online communities such as Trustpilot, Reddit, and industry forums, identifying opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
- Improve branded SERP ownership and brand visibility signals.
- Support entity-building and AI citation monitoring in collaboration with the Senior SEO.
Requirements
- 3+ years of SEO / Organic growth experience, with a proven track record in authority-building and outreach initiatives, including understanding the difference between scalable link building and sustainable brand authority growth.
- Experience in brand monitoring, digital PR, or social media collaboration.
- Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console.
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to growth.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, marketing, content, and commercial teams.
