The Partnership & Alliance Manager will be responsible for building, governing, and scaling a reliable partner ecosystem across multiple regions. This role focuses on vendor onboarding, commercial negotiations, service-level governance, compliance management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective operations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Partner Acquisition & Supply Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard partners in line with phased supply expansion plans.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements including MoUs, rate cards, inventory allotments/blocks, cancellation policies, and payment terms.
  • Build long-term, scalable partnerships aligned with operational demand.

Governance & Performance Management

  • Define, implement, and enforce SLAs covering service quality, timeliness, hygiene, safety, and customer experience.
  • Maintain vendor scorecards and conduct quarterly business and performance reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement through corrective actions and incentive/penalty frameworks.

Compliance, Safety & Risk Management

  • Ensure all partners meet licensing, permit, GST, insurance, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee compliance with aviation, transport, and state-level regulations where applicable.
  • Lead site audits, safety checks, and incident response readiness.

Capacity Planning & Pricing

  • Manage seasonal and event-based capacity planning aligned with demand cycles.
  • Enable dynamic pricing structures in line with operational peaks, festivals, and pilgrimage schedules.
  • Ensure optimal utilization and cost efficiency across partner networks.

Financial Controls & Reconciliation

  • Ensure accurate e-invoicing, timely reconciliations (T+5), and closure of commercial disputes.
  • Manage bonus, penalty, and incentive mechanisms linked to partner performance.
  • Coordinate closely with finance teams to maintain fiscal discipline.

Systems & Digital Enablement

  • Drive adoption of vendor portals for inventory, rates, blackout dates, document management, and digital KYC.
  • Maintain high-quality partner content including photos, amenities, and service descriptions.
  • Ensure consistent use of CRM, ticketing, and audit tools across partner operations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with external authorities, boards, and insurance partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, PMO, Finance, Legal, and Customer Support to ensure seamless execution.
  • Act as the central point of contact for alliance-related escalations and coordination.

Must-Have Skills & Tools

  • Strong expertise in partner contracting, negotiations, and SLA design.
  • Experience creating operational playbooks and governance frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; basic SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM/Vendor Management systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with e-sign tools, document management platforms (Drive/SharePoint), ticketing systems (Freshdesk/Zendesk), audit tools (SafetyCulture/iAuditor), and mapping tools.
