AI + Physics Startup | Boston or San Francisco | Full-time
Overview
PSI is a well-funded startup with roots at Harvard, MIT, and other leading global research institutions. Our mission is to build AI systems that discover new physics at scale. To help bring these groundbreaking discoveries to market, we are seeking a Partnerships Manager to drive our early commercialization efforts.
This individual will be the operational engine for our early growth, leveraging modern AI sales tools and automated workflows to connect our core discovery platform with key partners in the SaaS, data center, and applied physics spaces, and driving those opportunities across the finish line.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Partnerships Manager, you will build and run the automated systems that power our outbound engine, while managing early-stage relationships and executing deals to help our AI systems thrive in the commercial market.
Agentic Sales Operations: Design, deploy, and manage agentic AI systems for outbound sales, automated prospecting, and intelligent pipeline management.
Full-Cycle Deal Execution: Serve as the engine behind closing partnerships, driving the end-to-end sales cycle from initial AI-driven outreach and qualification to negotiation, contract structuring, and final signature.
Vertical Expansion: Identify, engage, and close early design partners and enterprise customers across our core target verticals: hyper-scale data centers, high-performance SaaS platforms, and organizations commercializing applied physics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the commercial counterpart to our technical teams, ensuring partner feedback is synthesized and communicated to shape product direction while securing the technical wins needed to close deals.
What We're Looking For
We seek a highly motivated, early-career candidate who combines a scrappy knack for business development with a deep comfort level in using cutting-edge AI tools to scale their reach and close revenue.
Agentic Systems Fluency: Hands-on experience running, tweaking, and prompt-engineering AI agents or complex automated workflows for sales, marketing, and pipeline generation.
Closing DNA: Experience not just opening doors, but actively navigating the complexities of closing B2B deals, managing stakeholder alignment, and finalizing agreements.
Industry Knowledge: A solid baseline understanding of (and deep curiosity for) data center infrastructure, SaaS business models, and the commercialization of scientific research.
Scrappy & Autonomous: 1–3 years of experience in sales, growth, or partnerships at a fast-paced technology startup. You are a builder who doesn't wait for a playbook to be handed to you.
Location and Compensation
Location: This is an in-person role based in our Boston or San Francisco offices.
Compensation: We offer a competitive package including salary, comprehensive benefits, and early-stage equity.
