Supports the package manager on Passenger Processing System (CUPPS, CUSS, SBD, BRS, PRS, MDS) design, installation, integration, testing and commissioning at Crete Airport.
Assists the package manager to manage and deliver the system design, installation, integration, integration, integration, testing, commissioning, and handover of the system to the client.
Works with all the stakeholders to understand airport operational needs and translates them into requirements.
Aids package manager for recording the requirements collected from the clients and stakeholders and incorporating them into the design and sign-off and approvals.
Collaborates with sub-system providers and collects the interface requirements to deploy and integrate applications with airport infrastructure.
Supports package manager to do design value engineering.
Facilitates package manager in line with Greek and European standards.
Reviews the design provided by the vendor and attends the meetings.
Monitors and reports on the works executed in line with design and local & international standards.
Coordinates and manages the sub-contractor’s day-to-day work and makes sure the contractor meets the project timeline.
Liaises with other services and resolves site-level issues.
Oversees the site-level material status and validates the material delivered in line with the contract.
Reports on the daily/weekly progress of work to the reporting manager.
Collaborates with non-IT contractors to secure readiness of IT installation areas.
Supports package manager to keep the system's schedule under control.
Coordinates closely for requirement collection and sign-off, and for testing, commissioning and integration of IT systems.
Oversees the acquisition of design approvals, permits, and site-start procedures, while following up with the system provider to ensure on-time delivery of designs, ICDs, and project documents.
Works closely with clients, sub-contractors, IE, Airlines, police, and other airport stakeholders to execute all required tests and arrange training activities as per project needs.
Manages the quality of materials and workmanship.
Inspects equipment, systems and materials on arrival at site and verifies quantities.
Performs routine and random quality checks along with quantity verification.
Maintains approved samples.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in executing projects.
Good knowledge of Airport systems (CUPPS, CUSS, BRS, MDS, FIDS, AODB, ACDM & IMB).
Existing exposure in projects or operations in the above systems.
