About Fyxer
Last year, we grew from $1M to $30M ARR
We’re solving the biggest problem in modern work: email.
And we’re doing it at the best possible time in history to solve it.
We are AI-first by design. We build with AI, we operate with AI and we expect our internal teams to leverage automation and data to move faster and make better decisions.
What We're Looking For
We're hiring our first People Operations Lead to scale and evolve our people infrastructure for the next stage of growth.
This is not a greenfield HR build. We already have core foundations in place. Your role is to sharpen, automate and scale what exists so it can support rapid international expansion.
You’ll own the operational engine behind our team, from contracts and onboarding to multi-country employment and compliance. You’ll work directly with the Chief of Staff and CPO, supporting our growing UK and US footprint and future markets.
We’re scaling from 70 to 150+ employees globally in the next 12–18 months. You’ll ensure our people operations can handle that velocity without breaking.
What's on Offer
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 with equity and private medical
Location: Onsite, Central London (Holborn), 4 days per week in office with Fridays at home if desired
Reports to: Ally O'Donohoe, Chief of Staff
You'll Be a Great Fit If You…
Have 5+ years experience in HR, People Ops at a high-growth startup or scale-up
Have scaled teams through rapid growth phases and navigated both hiring surges and team reductions
Have managed multi-country people operations, ideally working with EORs and PEOs
Are comfortable operating at pace, context switching constantly and juggling multiple high-priority workstreams without dropping detail
Default to ownership and execution rather than escalation
Use data to inform decisions, whether that’s headcount planning, attrition analysis, compensation benchmarking or policy changes
Are AI-curious or AI-native and actively look for ways to automate workflows, reduce manual admin and improve accuracy
Have working knowledge of UK and or US employment frameworks and know when to escalate to external counsel or advisors
Have hands-on experience with modern HR tooling such as Humaans, Deel, Rippling or similar platforms
Have working knowledge of UK and / or US employment law (EOR, right-to-work, FLSA, benefits compliance, etc.)
Have experience working remotely and managing distributed teams effectively
Own the Foundations: Take full responsibility for our global People Operations infrastructure. From contracts and onboarding to references and offboarding, you ensure every employee experience is smooth, compliant, and professional across jurisdictions. The fundamentals are never shaky on your watch.
Navigate Global Complexity: Oversee and optimize our relationships with EORs and PEOs while helping guide strategic decisions around entity vs. EOR as we expand. You understand the tradeoffs, surface the risks, and help the business scale internationally with confidence.
Protect and Ensure Compliance: Manage employment documentation and personnel records in line with UK, US, and international regulations — from GDPR and right-to-work to FLSA and state-specific laws. You stay ahead of legal changes, proactively advising founders so there are no surprises.
Build the System: Run and continuously improve our HR tooling and processes across geographies. Whether it’s contracts through Humaans or Deel, onboarding workflows, payroll coordination, equity prep, or benefits administration, you create scalable systems that work today and support our growth tomorrow.
We are intentional about our team. We believe a small, exceptional team working with extreme focus will always outperform a large, bloated organization.
Autonomy: We hire people who want ownership and then we actually give it to them.
Velocity: You will be fast-tracked into senior responsibilities far earlier than at a traditional company.
Scale: We are on track to hit $100M in revenue by the end of 2026. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth rocket ship at the foundational stage.
