At Mirage, we build with intention. That means thoughtful engineering, careful craftsmanship, and respect for how people work. As we scale, we are looking for a People Operations Manager to ensure our people systems, processes, and day-to-day experience meet that same standard.
This role sits at the intersection of operations, people strategy, compliance, and accounting. You will own core People functions end-to-end and partner closely with leadership to create an environment where everyone can do their best work.
End-to-End People Operations
Own new hire onboarding and offboarding workflows, including I-9 and W-4 completion, payroll setup, benefits enrollment, access management, and required compliance trainings
Help manage visa documentation processes and ensure ongoing compliance where applicable
HR Systems and Infrastructure
Manage our HRIS, payroll systems, benefits platforms, and reporting tools
Partner closely with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll, tax filings, audits, and compliance reporting such as EEO-1, ACA, and pay data
Ensure clean integrations between HR systems and accounting tools
Programs and Policies
Maintain Mirage’s employee handbook and create or update policies related to PTO, holidays, FMLA, and leave programs
Ensure policies are clear, accurate, and easy for employees to understand
Design and run programs across the employee lifecycle, including training, surveys, and development initiatives
Employee Experience
Serve as a trusted day-to-day resource for employees, handling questions with care, clarity, and discretion
Partner with managers and leaders to ensure people issues are handled consistently, thoughtfully, and in a legally sound way
