We are seeking a skilled Performance Engineer to join our team and ensure the scalability, stability, and reliability of our applications and systems under varying workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive performance test strategies.
- Identify system bottlenecks and work with development/infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
- Monitor system behavior under load and validate performance improvements.
- Deliver detailed and accurate test reports with insights and recommendations.
- Continuously improve testing frameworks, scripts, and documentation.
Requirements
JMeter Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for designing, developing, and executing performance, load, stress, and endurance tests
- Ability to create and maintain test scripts, parameterization, correlation, and assertions
- Experience analyzing test results and identifying performance bottlenecks
- Integration of JMeter with CI/CD pipelines is a plus
Shell Scripting
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting (Bash or similar)
- Ability to automate performance test executions, log analysis, and environment setup
- Experience with cron jobs and automation workflows
Windows Scripting
- Experience with Windows batch scripting and/or PowerShell
Reporting & Analysis
- Strong ability to generate clear, structured, and detailed performance reports
- Experience creating dashboards and executive summaries for stakeholders
- Ability to interpret performance metrics (CPU, memory, I/O, network, response time, throughput, etc.)
