Role Overview
We are seeking a Performance Marketing Manager who can own paid media strategy end-to-end while acting as a primary client-facing partner.
This is a strategic, hands-on role that sits at the intersection of paid media strategy, performance analysis, team leadership, and client communication. You will be responsible for ensuring campaigns are aligned with business goals and executed at a high standard by internal teams.
You will serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, translating insights into action and guiding execution teams toward consistent performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Strategy & Ownership
- Own paid media strategy for assigned clients across Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Conduct audience, competitor, and channel research
- Define budgets, channel mix, and campaign direction aligned with client goals
- Continuously refine strategy based on performance data and insights
Client-Facing Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients
- Lead and participate in client calls to present performance, insights, and next steps
- Clearly communicate data, trends, and strategic decisions
- Build strong client relationships through proactive updates and accountability
Execution Oversight & Team Coordination
- Translate strategy into clear execution plans for the ads execution team
- Review campaign implementation to ensure quality and alignment with strategy
- Provide feedback, prioritization, and guidance to team members
- Coordinate daily through Slack and project management tools
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance across platforms on an ongoing basis
- Identify optimization opportunities, scaling paths, and risks early
- Ensure alignment with budgets, KPIs, and client expectations
- Take ownership of resolving performance issues
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Review dashboards and reports using Google Analytics and Looker Studio
- Analyze performance trends and extract actionable insights
- Keep clients informed with clear, accurate reporting and recommendations
Workflow & Process Management
- Maintain organized workflows, timelines, and task ownership
- Collaborate with creative, SEO, and client success teams
- Contribute to improving internal processes and operational efficiency
Key Requirements
Must-Haves
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns (Google Ads & Meta Ads)
- 2+ years of experience leading or managing team members (formal or informal)
- Strong experience in client-facing roles, including presenting performance on live calls
- Solid understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Ability to translate business goals into actionable paid media strategies
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Clear, proactive written and verbal communication
- Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with Looker Studio or similar reporting tools
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or agencies
