We are seeking a dedicated PMO Lead to support the coordinate project portfolio and resource planning and drive reporting, transparency, and decision-making.
A Day in the Life of a PMO Lead will include:
- Ensure effective governance and execution across SAP projects:
- Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, standards, and methodologies;
- Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies;
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget;
- Coordinate project portfolio and resource planning:
- Maintain a consolidated view of all SAP projects (portfolio management);
- Collaborate with SAP Practice for resource allocation and capacity planning;
- Balance priorities across multiple concurrent projects;
- Drive reporting, transparency, and decision-making:
- Prepare and present status reports to management and key stakeholders;
- Track KPIs (delivery, financials, utilization, risks);
- Proactively identify issues and support timely decision-making;
- Facilitate steering committees and governance forums;
- Ensure financial and commercial control of projects:
- Monitor project budgets, actuals, forecasts, and profitability;
- Support scope control and change management processes;
- Collaborate with Finance on accruals and financial reporting;
- Support and enable project managers
- Guide Project Managers on methodologies, tools, and best practices;
- Ensure consistency in templates, deliverables, and execution standards;
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Sales and Practice
- Work with Solution Sales during presales to ensure realistic planning;
- Align delivery approach with SAP Practice capabilities;
- Support smooth transition from presales to project execution;
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
- Professional experience:
- 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management / PMO roles, ideally within SAP project environments;
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects or project portfolios;
- Experience in consulting or system integration environments will be considered a strong plus;
- Project & PMO expertise:
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, preferably SAP Activate or others (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid);
- Experience in project governance, portfolio management, and reporting;
- Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and changes in complex project environments;
- Financial & commercial acumen:
- Experience in budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting;
- Understanding of profitability, utilization, and commercial KPIs;
- Leadership & stakeholder management:
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business and IT functions;
- Experience interacting with senior management and steering committees;
- Ability to guide and support project teams effectively;
- Technical & tools familiarity:
- Familiarity with SAP projects or enterprise IT implementations;
- Exposure to non-ERP SAP solutions (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Concur, SuccessFactors) will be considered a plus;
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence);
- Strong Excel and reporting skills;
- Education & certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field;
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification will be considered an asset.
