The Portfolio Manager role is crucial for ensuring the ongoing performance and reliability of the existing loan portfolio once the initial loan origination process is complete. This involves continuously monitoring the loan book's health, stability, and predictability, utilizing various metrics and analyses to identify potential risks or areas requiring intervention to maintain a sustainable and well-performing asset base.

What you'll Do:

• Portfolio Health Maintenance: Ensures the ongoing portfolio remains healthy and performs within predictable parameters
• Advanced Performance Tracking: Regularly monitors and reports on critical credit metrics, including vintages, roll-rates, customer segments, and score bands
• Strategic Calibrations: Provides data-driven recommendations on when to "tighten" or "expand" credit policies based on current portfolio performance trends
• Forecasting Accountability: Holds full accountability for the accuracy of portfolio performance forecasts provided to leadership

What you'll Need:

• 5-7 years of experience in Portfolio Management, preferably in the retail lending business
• Deep experience in portfolio analytics and vintage analysis within the lending industry
• Proficiency in tracking credit migration and roll-rate modeling
• Strong communication skills to provide strategic expansion or contraction advice to the P&L Owner
