Responsibilities:

Microsoft Technologies Expertise:  

  • Utilize knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Dataverse, PowerApps, and Azure Logic Apps to develop and implement robust Microsoft-based solutions.  
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in Microsoft technologies and recommend their adoption when applicable.  
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, enabling automated and secure software deployment. 

Agile Development:  

  • Follow agile development methodologies within the team.  
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.  
  • Foster a collaborative and iterative development environment.  

Coding Best Practices:  

  • Follow the established coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.  

DevSecOps Implementation:  

  • Contribute to the implementation of DevSecOps practices in an Azure environment.  
  • Collaborate with security and operations teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.  

Collaboration:  

  • Work closely as part of a cross-functional team, including QA, product management, and business analysts.  
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical insights. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of Dynamics or PowerApps/Model Driven Apps/Dataverse and an additional 3-5 years of general IT experience.
  • Proven experience as a Developer in Microsoft technologies. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, SQL Server, Microsoft Dataverse, Model Driven Apps, and API development 
  • Experience with cloud-based identity and access management service (i.e. Microsoft
    Entra, Azure Active Directory (AAD), Azure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)) 
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies. 
  • Familiarity with Azure Security Center or similar security management tools 
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and implementation in an Azure environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • US citizenship required.
  • Occasional on-site availability required (DC Metro)
