We are seeking a highly capable Pre-Sales Engineer to act as the critical bridge between advanced technology solutions and client business objectives. This role is designed for a technically strong professional who can own the end-to-end pre-sales lifecycle, from discovery and solution design to demonstrations, proposals, and deal support. You will work closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to craft tailored solutions for clients across domestic and international markets, translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value. Based in Mumbai (Malad West), this is a full-time, on-site role offering significant exposure to solution architecture, client engagement, and revenue growth initiatives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client challenges and translate requirements into scalable, integrated solution architectures.
  • Design and document customized solutions, evaluating new technologies, features, and products for alignment with client needs.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (PoCs), both on-site and remotely, to showcase technical value and feasibility.
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals, solution decks, RFP/RFI responses, and pricing structures in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Support and participate in customer negotiations, addressing technical queries, refining solution scope, and enabling deal closures.
  • Maintain ownership of CRM systems, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, pipeline health, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility, smooth handovers, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through white papers, articles, blogs, and technical documentation.
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to provide insights that inform solution strategies and product roadmaps.
  • Support internal teams through technical enablement, training, and knowledge sharing.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or technical certifications are an advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, or technical sales within the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of technology architectures, cloud platforms, integrations, and solution design.
  • Proven ability to run discovery sessions, deliver demos, build proposals, and support complex deal cycles.
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills, including the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and strong command of MS Office for proposals and presentations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client engagements across regions.
