JOB TITLE: Prep Cook
The primary responsibility of this position is the consistent production of quality food and the required supporting tasks to achieve that goal including:
-Preparing and executing dishes
-Collaborating with Sous Chef to execute dishes
-Adhere to kitchen processes
-Other tasks as assigned

Full-time hourly position reporting to the Chef
COMPENSATION: $20 / hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the chefs in all kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to recipes and standards.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff.
- Manage food inventory and ordering.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Develop new recipes and menus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Positive, thoughtful and approachable
- Solid organization, planning, and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Drop Box, and the Google Drive Suite
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities
- A history in casual dining management of at least five years working as a Café or Restaurant Manager.
