Ready to work with your hands, learn new equipment, and be part of a fast paced manufacturing environment? Edwards Label is looking for an Printing Press Assistant (Equipment Operator – Production Assistant) to support our production floor and help keep jobs moving accurately and efficiently.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands on work, pays attention to detail, and wants to grow within a production or manufacturing setting.
🚀 What You’ll Do
- Assist with setup, operation, and support of production equipment
- Prepare materials, tools, and components for production runs
- Follow job tickets and work instructions to meet quality and production standards
- Support quality checks and document production data
- Identify issues with equipment or product and escalate concerns when needed
- Perform cleaning, wash ups, and routine equipment maintenance
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Work closely with the Production Leadership Team and fellow operators
- Complete training and follow established procedures
💪 Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted
- Manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise
- Exposure to production equipment, materials, and temperature changes

Qualifications
🧠 What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Experience assisting with production or printing equipment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow your skills
- Comfortable working in a fast paced production environment
