Private Chef

About the Role

A private UHNW family based in Santa Teresa is seeking a talented, discreet, and service-oriented Private Chef to manage all culinary needs of the household. This includes daily meal preparation, menu planning, sourcing premium ingredients, and maintaining the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and organization. The ideal candidate has experience working in luxury households or high-end restaurants and understands the rhythm, expectations, and discretion required in a private family environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality, fresh, healthy meals for the family (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
• Create weekly menus based on family preferences, dietary needs, and seasonal produce.
• Source the best local and imported ingredients; maintain relationships with trusted suppliers.
• Handle grocery shopping, inventory management, and kitchen budget oversight.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Accommodate last-minute changes, special occasions, and guest dinners.
• Prepare snacks, juices, and healthy options throughout the day as needed.
• Plan and execute meals for family events, celebrations, or travel (when required).
• Collaborate with household staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain discretion, professionalism, and a positive, respectful attitude at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Private Chef or in a top-tier restaurant (minimum 3+ years).
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines (Mediterranean, Russian, European, plant-based options are a plus).
• Ability to prepare clean, healthy, balanced dishes while also offering gourmet options.
• Understanding of nutrition, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility in schedule and willingness to adapt to the family's needs.
• Fluent English
• High level of discretion and respect for family privacy.
