The Privileged Access Management Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level PAM solutions to secure privileged accounts and remote access across systems and applications. The role requires deep technical expertise in PAM tools, hands-on experience with BeyondTrust (Bomgar), and strong collaboration with security and infrastructure teams to enhance access governance and compliance.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions with a focus on BeyondTrust (Bomgar).
  • Configure and administer PAM tools to manage privileged credentials, secure remote access, and enforce access policies.
  • Work on privileged remote access management, privileged remote support, and access governance initiatives.
  • Migrate and decommission insecure remote access tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Bitvise) and implement secure alternatives.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to optimize firewall rules and enhance access security.
  • Support IAM and SSO integrations including RSA, CA SiteMinder, LDAP directory services, and token-based authentication.
  • Troubleshoot PAM/IAM issues including RSA token authentication and MFA/2FA setups.
  • Document technical configurations, standards, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure alignment with security policies, compliance requirements, and audit standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Strong hands-on expertise with BeyondTrust PAM (Bomgar).
  • Solid understanding of SSO, RSA Authentication, LDAP directories (Oracle Directory, SunOne, etc.).
  • Experience with CA SiteMinder and application access management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving PAM/IAM issues.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional security and infrastructure teams.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to Operational Technology (OT) or engineering network security.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk or NewRelic.
  • Familiarity with security governance, audits, and compliance frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications in IAM, PAM, or cybersecurity domains.
