We are hiring a Procurement Manager to build and lead Mariana’s procurement capabilities across projects and operating sites. This role is focused on establishing procurement systems, processes, and standards that support efficient, compliant, and coordinated purchasing.
In this role, you will ensure that our projects and operating sites have the supplier agreements, procurement tools, and commercial processes needed to succeed. You will define how procurement should operate across the organization, partnering closely with teams to ensure procurement supports both near-term execution and long-term strategy.
Serve as the central procurement expert for the organization, building and owning procurement standards and processes in partnership with Finance, Capital Projects, Engineering, and Operations
Lead procurement for new projects and support procurement at operating sites, with a focus on indirect spend and long-term supplier agreements
Shape and validate procurement functionality within the ERP system, ensuring tools and workflows support purchasing needs across the organization
Define and maintain procurement policies, templates, and documents that make supplier engagements consistent, efficient, and scalable
Prepare concise, well-structured documents and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field
3–6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain in industrials, manufacturing, or materials
Strong negotiation skills, with a proven record of securing favorable agreements with suppliers
Experience building procurement processes, standards, and systems with the ability to learn new tools quickly
Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication skills across levels and functions, including working with suppliers, site teams, and leadership
Comfort working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment with shifting priorities
