Key Responsibilities
- Owning the end-to-end product strategy for your vertical, translating the overarching Trade Nation vision into a high-impact roadmap that rallies the business around a clear, actionable direction.
- Leading the full product lifecycle from discovery to delivery. You are responsible for defining "what" we build and "why," ensuring every initiative has a measurable impact on the business strategy and customer value.
- Driving a rigorous process of product discovery. You are leading the definition, design, and validation of ideas.
- Championing an "evidence-over-opinion" approach. You will be prioritising based on quantitative data (usage, funnels, market trends) and qualitative insights (user research, feedback) to provide transparent, logical reasoning for every decision.
- Acting as the "connective tissue" between your vertical and the wider business. You will be partnering with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations to ensure seamless execution, successful launches and measurable outcomes.
- Building high-trust relationships with senior stakeholders. You are expected to manage expectations proactively and challenge constructively to ensure we solve the right problems for our customers.
- Maintaining a deep level of understanding of your specific vertical’s market landscape, regulatory environment, and competitor movements to ensure Trade Nation remains a market leader.
Requirements
- Between 3-10+ years as a PM in Spread Betting, CFDs, FX, or high-transaction Fintech (we are hiring for a number of positions of varying seniority)
- Proven track record of using modern discovery frameworks (e.g., JTD framework, Opportunity Solution Trees) to validate ideas before development.
- Experience managing outcome-based roadmaps linked to specific business KPIs rather than just feature delivery.
- Ability to lead technical discussions regarding APIs, system latency, and scalability with CTOs and Engineering leads.
- Expert proficiency in Agile/Scrum workflows, with the pragmatism to manage Waterfall constraints for regulatory or third-party projects.
- Advanced user of Jira and Confluence, with hands-on experience in Product Analytics tools.
- Experience influencing C-suite/Senior Leadership and the ability to constructively challenge requirements using data.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional launches involving Marketing, Compliance, and Operations.
- Highly skilled at merging quantitative data (funnel analysis, A/B testing) with qualitative insights (user interviews) to drive decisions.
