Product Owner (Cashier)
We are looking for a Product Owner to drive the evolution of the Cashier domain, covering both user-facing journeys and the underlying systems that power payment and transaction flows, ensuring scalable, reliable, and high-performing experiences in a complex iGaming environment.
This role goes beyond front-end experience, covering a range of initiatives across user-facing journeys, internal systems, and platform capabilities such as middleware, integrations, and rules engines.
You will work at the intersection of product, technology, payments, and compliance to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing solutions that support both user experience and business performance.
Experience in Cashier or payments is a strong advantage, but the role requires a broad product mindset, with the ability to operate across multiple product layers and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Own and evolve the Cashier domain across frontend journeys, backend systems, and platform capabilities.
- Translate business goals and strategy into clear initiatives, epics, and deliverables.
- Define and maintain a roadmap that balances experience improvements, system scalability, and new capabilities.
- Contribute to shaping the long-term product vision within the domain.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Technology, Payments, Casino, Compliance, and Operations teams.
- Collaborate with other Product Owners to ensure alignment across domains and shared systems.
- Drive alignment on priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs across multiple stakeholders.
Prioritisation & Delivery
- Own and prioritise the backlog based on business value, impact, and effort.
- Ensure development teams have clear requirements, context, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage dependencies across systems and teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Performance & Optimisation
- Define and monitor key metrics such as conversion, payment success rates, operational efficiency, and system performance.
- Identify improvement opportunities across both user journeys and underlying systems.
- Drive continuous optimisation through data and insights.
Documentation & Alignment
- Maintain clear and structured documentation across flows, systems, and requirements.
- Ensure alignment across Product, Engineering, Support, and Compliance teams.
- Clearly articulate processes, edge cases, and constraints.
Requirements
Qualities we are looking for:
- Experience as a Product Owner managing complex product areas with multiple touchpoints (frontend + backend + integrations).
- Strong product mindset with the ability to operate across different layers of a product ecosystem.
- Experience in iGaming, payments, fintech, or regulated environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to prioritise effectively based on business impact and ROI.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent written communication — able to document flows, systems, and requirements clearly.
- Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical constraints.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making and optimisation.
- Familiarity with payments, integrations, or transactional systems is a strong advantage.
