Project Engineer (Sarawak)
- Set up and drive operations of Green Energy Programmes between Solarvest and Centexs (Up to 4 programs such as Smart Solar PV, Green Mobility and Storage, Green Hydrogen, Hyperscale Green Data Centre and Smart Solar PV Installation)
- Coordinate licensing approvals with relevant authorities for Centexs
- Conduct refresher courses to the Centexs Trainers and participate in Students Engagement Initiatives in Kuching and Mukah
- Update program syllabus every 6 months including new syllabus content
- Drive the Trainer-the-Trainers for Hyperscale Green Data Centre with Strategic Partners
- Coordinate job placement for all trainees and support employability initiative by outreach/marketing events together with Centexs Employment Team
- Conduct the Operation and Maintenance activities of the Testbeds in Kuching and Mukah
- Coordinate Centexs rooftop monthly and project billings and payment collection
- Collaboration with Centexs R&I team to drive and support commercialisation of testbeds
- Invitation and involvement of industry experts to the Programs teaching
- Support Centexs on co-marketing and technology launching events, become the first contact point for any VIP visits to testbeds
- And any other assignment / task as deemed fit
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Electrical degree will be plus advantage
- Ability to multi-task and work in a startup environment
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- Fast learner, ability to understand technical/engineering requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Passionate to learn, able to work systematically, demonstrate accountability
- Willing to travel
