Project Manager

BESIX Watpac is seeking a Project Manager to join our Queensland Construction team delivering an industrial project in the Rockhampton region.

This role will be responsible for:

• Successfully deliver the project in accordance with the company’s procedures.
• Effectively manage and ensure the timely completion of the works pursuant to the project program, including the administration, financial management and reporting for the project.
• Project strategy with respect to design management, delivery methodology and procurement.
• Lead the project team in accordance with the company values and culture.
• Be responsible for the management, coordination and quality of the works to be performed.

Qualifications

The incumbent in this role will require:

• Trade or tertiary qualifications in Construction or Building or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of building construction projects within time, cost and quality parameters.
• Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business.
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to build and lead an effective results driven team.
