The Opportunity: 

The Sr.  IT Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives that safeguard the company’s brand, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance enterprise risk maturity. This role combines strategic project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and financial stewardship—managing budgets ranging from $3 million to $10 million across multiple global programs. 

The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, product safety compliance, and risk governance within the toy and consumer products industry, driving initiatives that align with the company’s core values of safety, ethics, and innovation. 

What Your Impact Will Be: 

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Project Leadership 

  • Lead enterprise-level GRC programs from planning through delivery, managing complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning compliance, risk management, and corporate governance. 

  • Oversee project budgets between $3M and $10M, ensuring cost efficiency, resource optimization, and ROI alignment with business objectives. 

  • Establish project roadmaps, allocate resources, and monitor progress against milestones, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards. 

  • Partner with global teams in Product Development, Supply Chain, Legal, IT, and Sustainability to embed risk and compliance frameworks into daily operations. 

Governance, Risk, and Compliance Oversight 

  • Support enterprise risk management and compliance frameworks, ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulations such as CPSC, ASTM F963, EN71, REACH, RoHS, GDPR, and CCPA. 

  • Manage the design and implementation of control systems, risk mitigation strategies, and audit readiness activities. 

  • Facilitate risk assessments, policy rollouts, and remediation plans across multiple regions. 

  • Serve as a key liaison during internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings and continuous improvement in compliance posture. 

Financial & Resource Management 

  • Develop and maintain annual GRC project budgets within the $3–$10 million range. 

  • Monitor financial performance, forecast expenditures, and ensure alignment with corporate cost control guidelines. 

  • Lead vendor and partner management processes—negotiating contracts, evaluating proposals, and ensuring delivery excellence within financial parameters. 

  • Report regularly on budget utilization, project ROI, and cost-saving initiatives to executive leadership. 

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication 

  • Prepare executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and board-facing reports summarizing program health, risk posture, and budget performance. 

  • Communicate project goals, risks, and achievements clearly across all levels of the organization, from operational teams to senior executives. 

  • Build strong partnerships with compliance, finance, and business unit leaders to ensure alignment of governance objectives with strategic priorities. 

Technology & Process Optimization 

  • Drive implementation and adoption of GRC platforms such as Archer, ServiceNow GRC, OneTrust, or similar systems. 

  • Identify opportunities for automation, process simplification, and enhanced data analytics within compliance and risk reporting workflows. 

  • Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across GRC functions.
