The Opportunity:
As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will be based in Hosur, India as a key position within the Quality Engineering team and report to the Senior Quality Engineering Manager in China.
The role partners closely with vendor sites and offers hands-on impact across product quality and compliance. You may be stationed at vendor locations as required.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Work closely with the D&D team to ensure products meet all safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, identifying potential quality risks, and ensuring quality standards are embedded throughout the product development process.
- Develop detailed product requirement documents that define product specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure all testing, quality documentation, and reports are completed and ready to support product shipment.
- Partner with the packaging design team to review and ensure packaging content meets all regulatory and quality requirements.
- Conduct thorough failure and root cause analyses when issues arise.
- Manage customer complaints and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with product engineers and cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for continuous product quality improvement.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Engineering or Science
- Three (3) or more years of manufacturing experience
- Solid experience in quality engineering
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), DFMEA and PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, DOE, and related tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) or more years of experience in toy manufacturing
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of injection molding processes
- Knowledge of electrical and/or electronic engineering
