This role is based in our Phoenix, AZ office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with sales-administrative duties to enable them to focus on sales-active tasks. This includes supporting efforts to sell upgraded company listings following the launch of the new ISS Buyer’s Guide in 2026, contributing to new revenue-generation initiatives.
- Oversee operations of the ISS (Inside Self-Storage) online store, including product solicitation and creation, website organization and updates, accounting and reporting, and marketing preparation and support.
- Provide assistance to all members of the ISS team with recurring, critical projects, such as:
- Annual ISS Top-Operators Lists
- Annual Best of Business campaign
- Annual expo-video launch
- Collaborate with the content team and conference manager to support the creation and execution of education programs.
- Work with the content and marketing teams to enhance SEO efforts for digital content and online platforms.
- Represent the company at self-storage events, including:
- Annual ISS World Expo (sales center, booth support, education-room support)
- Other industry events as required
- Assist the content team in preparing and gathering executed publishing agreements for print and digital content.
- Manage general administrative responsibilities, including:
- Renewing annual subscriptions for industry publications, supportive services, buyer’s guide listings, etc.
- Coordinating logistics for non-Informa events, such as registrations, furniture rentals, shipping, and other event-related needs.
- Work closely with sales, content, marketing, and conference teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, store performance, and event outcomes to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency across administrative and project-related tasks.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience in sales administration or supporting sales teams, including familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.
- Background in event planning or participation, including logistics management and onsite support.
- Proficiency in handling general administrative tasks, including subscription renewals, reporting, and vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar platforms).
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience or familiarity with image-creation programs a plus (Canva, Gimp, Illustrator).
- Experience or familiarity with the self-storage industry or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to manage complex tasks with precision and ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
- Takes initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and solve problems independently.
- Works effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, content, and event teams.
- Thrives in a dynamic environment and can adjust priorities based on evolving business needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a commitment to supporting internal and external customers with professionalism and responsiveness.

The salary range for this role is $60,000- $79,000 based on experience.
