We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Marine to lead and manage end-to-end execution of marine and civil construction projects. The role involves overseeing planning, engineering coordination, construction execution, marine logistics, safety compliance, and stakeholder management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with technical and safety standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and control of marine and civil construction activities.
  • Review and finalize project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and resource deployment.
  • Ensure timely execution of works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.

Construction & Technical Oversight

  • Oversee construction activities including breakwaters, jetties, piling works, revetments, and concrete block placement.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, clients, and third-party agencies for technical reviews, approvals, and design clarifications.
  • Ensure adherence to marine construction methodologies, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, guide, and coordinate engineering, construction, procurement, and QA/QC teams for seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop project teams to achieve productivity, quality, and performance targets.

Monitoring, Reporting & Control

  • Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets; identify risks, delays, and constraints.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate project risks.
  • Prepare and review MIS reports, progress updates, cost control statements, and forecasts.

Marine Logistics & Safety

  • Manage marine logistics including barges, cranes, tugs, and floating platforms.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, marine safety standards, and local maritime regulations.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities and site operations.

Qualifications

Essential

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Marine Engineering / Structural Engineering

Preferred

  • M.E. / M.Tech in Marine Engineering / Port & Harbour Engineering / Structural Engineering
  • MBA or PG Diploma in Project Management / Construction Management
