Range Energy is hiring a skilled, hands-on Prototype Fabricator to join our prototype shop team. You will work as a peer alongside our existing fabrication engineer, someone who has been building Range hardware since nearly day one, to expand the team's capacity and capability as we move from early prototypes into pilot deployments and beyond.

This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing and engineering. You are the person who takes a CAD model or sketch from the engineering team and turns it into a real, functional part or assembly. You will share day-to-day workflow management in the prototype shop, operate and maintain a variety of fabrication equipment, and work closely with engineers to improve designs for manufacturability, quality and speed.

Success here requires deep hands-on fabrication expertise, strong collaboration instincts, and the judgment to flag design or process issues early and communicate solutions clearly.

Range Energy’s compensation package includes a competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, and a generous benefits package. The salary range for Mountain View, CA based applicants is between $120K–$160K annually. The total compensation will be determined based on multiple factors including domain knowledge, experience and location.
