Job Brief
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Executive with experience in building materials trading. The role involves managing supplier coordination, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring timely procurement and availability of materials.
Responsibilities
- Obtain quotations from approved suppliers on time
- Clarify technical specifications and recommend suitable alternatives when required
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per company procedures
- Ensure timely delivery and proper order fulfilment
- Monitor order status and resolve delays, shortages, or discrepancies
- Coordinate with inventory and sales teams to maintain stock availability
- Conduct periodic warehouse visits to monitor supply chain efficiency
- Handle defective or unacceptable goods and ensure corrective action
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and municipal regulations

- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum qualification)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Building Materials Trading industry
- Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
- Proficiency in English and Hindi (Arabic is an advantage)
- ERP system knowledge (mandatory)
