We are award-winning experts in organisation change, helping to build better businesses across the world. Q5 was set up to be nimble enough to work across different sectors and locations, and create results based on the specific needs of our clients. We are pleased to offer a 6 month placement within our Q5 Foundation team.
The Q5 Foundation
At Q5, we place huge importance on delivering meaningful impact to the communities around us, both through and beyond our core consulting work. Since our inception in 2009, we’ve been committed to ensuring that Q5 delivers wider social, economic, and environmental benefits, living our purpose to “build healthy organisations that propel people, economies, and society forward.”
The Q5 Foundation brings this purpose to life. It delivers meaningful social impact while giving our people the opportunity to use their skills to support charities and social enterprises close to their hearts.
One of our flagship initiatives, Pop-Up Consulting, was launched during the Covid-19 pandemic to help charities and small organisations navigate change. Today, it remains one of Q5’s most powerful ways of giving back. This year alone, over 80 Q5ers have worked with 18 charities, delivering 1–2-day pro bono consulting interventions to tackle strategic and operational challenges such as strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, leadership development, change management, and organisational design.
The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised individual to join the Q5 Foundation team for a six-month placement. You’ll play a key role in coordinating Foundation activities, supporting Pop-Up Consulting projects from start to finish, and helping to develop and manage our wider initiatives.
You’ll also have the chance to shape the future of the Foundation, bringing new ideas for how we design, deliver, and measure the impact of our work. This placement offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with multiple charities, not-for-profits, and social enterprises across diverse social issues including education, mental health, sustainability, and poverty.
Responsibilities will include:
· Support the end-to-end delivery of Pop-Up Consulting workshops, from scoping calls, through to planning and logistics to follow-up and evaluation.
· Coordinate events, communications, and Foundation initiatives both internally across Q5’s global offices and externally working with our marketing team.
· Help manage multiple workstreams, ensuring activities are delivered efficiently and on time.
· Track and measure impact, gathering feedback and data to share success stories.
· Contribute ideas for improving how the Foundation operates, connects, and grows.
