QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a Quality Assurance team operating within a highly regulated and complex banking environment. The professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure robust, secure, and reliable delivery of software products.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework (mandatory).
• Support the establishment and evolution of Continuous Testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with development teams to review requirements and ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, identify issues, and support defect resolution.
• Ensure compliance with quality, performance, and security standards required in the banking sector.
• Document test strategies, automation standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to functional, regression, and end‑to‑end test activities.
• Participate in the improvement of QA tools, methodologies, and processes. 

Qualifications

What You Bring:

• Proven experience with Robot Framework (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Playwright (highly valued).
• Experience with Git and version control best practices.
• Strong background in UI, API, and integration test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent).
• Ability to analyze logs, perform troubleshooting, and validate complex technical integrations.
• Experience in banking or other regulated sectors (a plus).
• Proficiency in English (mandatory) and French (level B2 highly valued).

(Hybrid work, with 2/3 days of work in the office in LISBON per week)
