QA Engineer – Swagger Functional Testing

Product intro:
Swagger Functional Testing is a spec-driven API testing solution for creating tests automation from OpenAPI/Swagger definitions. It supports collaborative workflows, integrates with CI/CD pipelines, and enables scalable, low-code test creation with parallel execution. Its goal is to ensure consistent quality and catch defects early across the entire API lifecycle.

About the role:
As a QA Engineer, you will work with acceptance testing, regression testing, test automation and overall providing the highest quality experience to users.
- Ensure quality of one of the most perspective and newest SmartBear product.
- Plans tests for developed features and work closely with the product owner, UX Designers and developers.
- Create and maintain automated tests for UI and backend APIs.
- Review results of automated tests and log defects.
- Performance and stress test.
- Perform manual testing (exploratory and non-functional) with support of Zephyr Scale.
- Monitor and measure test coverage to improve test scenarios.
- Provide feedback/input on the techniques, solutions and tools used throughout projects.
We are looking for you if you have:
- 3+ years in Quality Assurance in a production environment.
- Experience with testing Web applications.
- Experience with JavaScript for test automation.
- Experience with API testing tools.
- Experience with Web UI testing tools such as: Playwright, Test Complete, Cypress or other similar.
- A risk-based approach to testing.
- Experience in following would be a big plus: JIRA, Zephyr Scale, OAuth2, Kafka, AWS, figma.
