QA/QC Manager ( IT & Electronics Engineer )
GEK TERNA GROUP is seeking a:
QA/QC Manager ( IT & Electronics Engineer )
for the Airport project.
Role responsibilities:
- Monitors and ensures high-quality standards in the project, inspects delivered materials, work installations, testing procedures and processes, documentation during the project implementation and handover stage.
- Manages and oversees project quality to ensure compliance with local codes, standards, regulations and equipment specifications.
- Develops and implements risk-based inspection (RBI) activities and processes.
- Identifies and designs solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies.
- Devises procedures to inspect and report quality.
- Oversees all operations that affect quality.
- Ensures correct codes, standards, job specifications, project procedures are properly identified, correctly specified in detail, and met.
- Reports all defects immediately to ensure immediate action.
- Facilitates proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.
- Keeps records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.
- Coordinates and collaborates with all the sub-contractors to ensure high quality project delivery.
- Guarantees materials meet legal requirements and standards
- Works closely with clients, sub-contractors, IE, Airlines, police, and other airport stakeholders to execute all required tests and arrange training activities as per project needs.
- Manages the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Inspects equipment, systems and materials on arrival at site and verifies quantities.
- Performs routine and random quality checks along with quantity verification.
- Oversees documentation management across all phases, including material delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, and project handover.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in executing projects and leading the quality department.
- Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role.
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
- Certification of quality control is an added advantage.
