Quality Assurance Engineer
Location - Hybrid, Toronto
- Understanding project documents, business demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
- Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
- Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- Conducts end to end testing including testing of interfaces & APIs and report results.
- Report, test and close defects.
- Setting up, maintaining, and performing on Test Automation frameworks.
- Document the procedures, standards, tech-stack, test architecture, framework and best practices.
Qualifications
- 5 years of Software testing experience within Software Development project team
- 4+ years of Test Automation experience with Selenium / web driver IO / REST Assured/Postman or similar tools
- Hands on experience with coding languages like JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python
- Hands on with automation frameworks like Cucumber /Behaviour Driven Development/TDD/TestNG
- Test Case Development skills and experience with QA methodologies
- Experience working with CI\CD pipeline and defect management tools.
- Experience with different types of Testing (Manual, Front end, Web testing, UI, Regression, Functional, SIT, UAT)
- Strong Communications Skills
- Working knowledge of SAP web testing is added bonus
