As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans for our SaaS-based solutions. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to validate functionality, identify defects early, and champion best practices in quality engineering. Experience working with SaaS platforms, cloud-native products, and SIEM solutions will be highly valuable in this role.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across our SaaS offering.
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure end-to-end product quality.
• Partner with engineering teams to define quality standards, acceptance criteria, and test strategies for complex, distributed systems.
• Validate data flows, event ingestion, logging pipelines, and integrations within SIEM environments, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production defects, identify gaps in test coverage, and recommend process or automation improvements.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, refine user stories from a quality standpoint, and ensure test readiness for upcoming sprints.
• Advocate for and implement quality engineering best practices, including shift-left testing, risk-based testing, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent test execution and reporting.
• Produce clear QA documentation, including test reports, defect logs, and coverage metrics, and communicate quality status to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry standards, emerging tools, and modern testing methodologies to enhance the overall QA function.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–12 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within SaaS or cloud-based product companies.
• Strong hands-on experience with functional testing, test case design, exploratory testing, and defect management.
• Proven expertise in quality engineering principles, including test strategy, test coverage optimization, and quality metrics.
• Experience working with SaaS platforms, multi-tenant architectures, cloud environments, and API-driven ecosystems.
• Familiarity with SIEM technologies, log analytics, event pipelines, cybersecurity workflows, or monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex quality issues effectively.
• Experience with test management tools, issue-tracking systems, and reporting dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to automation frameworks, scripting, or CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of performance, security, or reliability testing.
• Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
