This role combines elements of recruiting, talent strategy, and recruiting operations. You will help design and execute the company’s hiring processes while ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience from initial outreach through interviews and offers.
You will be responsible for identifying strong candidates, managing recruiting pipelines, coordinating interviews, and partnering closely with hiring managers to understand the talent needs of the business.
Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving startup environment. You should be comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership while continuously improving recruiting processes as the company grows.
Source and engage strong candidates through referrals, outbound sourcing, and other recruiting strategies
Manage the end-to-end coordination of the interview process, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates and interviewers
Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process to ensure a positive candidate experience
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and help shape job descriptions and candidate profiles
Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline tracking within the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Track recruiting metrics and generate reports to help monitor pipeline health and hiring progress
Support recruiting strategy initiatives such as referral programs, sourcing projects, and pipeline development
Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows and help build scalable hiring processes as the company grows
Take ownership of special projects that support the overall mission and effectiveness of the recruiting team
The ideal candidate has:
1–3 years of experience in recruiting, recruiting coordination, talent operations, or similar roles (preferrably in either tech or defense tech)
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive problem-solving mindset with a high degree of ownership
Comfort working closely with founders, hiring managers, and candidates
Compensation is estimated at between $90-120k, plus equity, for this role and is subject to change based on experience and impact.
