About the role:
We’re looking for a commercially minded Accountant who enjoys being close to the action. This role is the vital connection between finance and operations, supporting Acrow Limited and Camelspace Limited across the Lower North Island.
You’ll own the coordination and preparation of monthly financials, management reporting and analysis, delivering accurate, timely insights that help leaders make better decisions. Working side-by-side with operational teams, you’ll provide proactive financial support to the Regional Manager, helping drive performance and results.
Don’t worry, you won’t be doing this alone - you’ll collaborate closely with our Group Financial Controller, Senior Accountant and Group CFO (Auckland-based). You can also contribute to financial projects across the wider Acrow Group.

About you:
You will be enthused to step into a ‘meaty’ role, to showcase your experience and ability to pick up required tasks, processes and systems quickly!
You consider yourself customer focused, a great communicator, hard-working, organised, efficient, with high attention to detail. You will be excited and motivated at the prospect of a busy role, juggling multiple deliverables.
You will enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, you will be comfortable working within the construction industry and all that comes with it – yards, trucks, amazing people and lots of scaffold!
Skill / behaviour requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within the private sector
- High level of customer focus in all that you do
- Positive can-do attitude
- High level of attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills: comfortable with MS Suite in particular Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Top notch organising, prioritising and time management skills
- Resilient and able to remain calm under pressure
- Have good initiative and be intuitive – take tasks / projects through to completion
- Learning agile, able to quickly grasp latest financial concepts, technology and systems as required.
Desirable experience (but not necessary)
- SAP Business One
- Construction/ project accounting
- Power BI.
