We are seeking a motivated and curious professional to join our team as Regional Sales & Program Manager, Europe. This hybrid role combines commercial responsibility for Events and Market Intelligence (MI) across Europe with leadership of selected executive event programs.
This position is well suited to someone with a journalistic or editorial mindset who enjoys the space sector and thrives in a client-facing, revenue-driven environment.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will lead day-to-day sales activity across Europe, manage regional accounts, and coordinate the development of high-quality programs for the executive events you oversee. You will collaborate closely with the Programs, Events, and consulting teams on program development and speaker engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys industry research, storytelling, relationship building, and closing deals in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key responsibilities
Sales & Client Engagement
Lead sales activity across Europe, managing regional accounts and driving revenue for Events and Market Intelligence (MI) products.
Own the European sales portfolio, including account management, new business development, and regional revenue targets.
Manage select accounts and maintain strong, service-oriented client relationships.
Conduct regular outreach to prospects and clients, including meetings and targeted follow-ups.
Develop proposals and commercial packages for event sponsorships, participation, and MI products.
Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline activity, and contribute to regional sales forecasting.
Collaborate with the Sales Director and internal teams to support account growth and cross-selling opportunities.
Coordinate closely with the Events Director, who retains ownership of a small number of key European accounts, ensuring alignment where account responsibilities overlap.
Program Coordination & Management
Coordinate the development and delivery of event programs and agendas for executive summits.
Work closely with the Programs team, consultants, and analysts who define session themes and identify relevant speakers.
Translate program direction into clear and inviting session titles and descriptions for agendas and promotional materials.
Support expert committee activities, including identifying, inviting, and coordinating speakers and moderators.
Manage program timelines and maintain up-to-date agendas, speaker lists, and program deliverables throughout the planning cycle.
Ensure smooth coordination between Programs, Sales, Events, and Operations teams as sessions and speakers are confirmed.
Provide regular updates on program progress and ensure program development aligns with event timelines and audience expectations.
Regional Event Support
Collaborate with the Events and Programs teams to support event preparation and execution.
Assist with speaker coordination, agenda updates, and onsite support when required.
Support preparation for external events where the company participates or partners.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Programs, and Events teams to ensure coordination across commercial and program activities.
Provide regular updates to the Sales Director on sales progress, program development, and regional activity.
Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, events, program coordination, or a related field (up to ~10 years welcomed).
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience supporting sales cycles and managing client accounts.
Ability to support program development, including drafting session titles and descriptions and coordinating speakers.
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and disciplined pipeline management.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in the space or satellite sector is a plus but not required.
Additional Skills & Requirements
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with digital tools, including Salesforce and Office 365.
Languages: Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. Knowledge of French and additional languages is an asset.
