We are looking for a detail-oriented Release Manager to join our team and take ownership of planning, coordinating, and overseeing software releases across a complex, multi-environment landscape.
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring smooth deployments, minimizing risk, and maintaining high quality standards across our delivery pipeline. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product, and Operations teams, acting as the central point of coordination for all release activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and manage end-to-end software releases across multiple environments (Dev, SIT, QA, UAT, Production).
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure release readiness and successful execution.
- Own and continuously improve release management processes, standards, and governance.
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate release-related risks and dependencies.
- Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and compliance throughout the release lifecycle.
- Monitor release health, manage rollbacks when needed, and support incident handling in collaboration with Operations and Support teams.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders regarding release status, timelines, and risks.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent knowledge of Jira and Confluence, including workflows, automations, and integrations in multi-environment setups.
- Experience working in complex infrastructures with multiple parallel releases.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, version control systems, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong planning, coordination, and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with release automation tools and scripting would be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience in fintech or other regulated environments would be considered an asset.
- Languages required: English and Greek, both written and verbal.
