We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to help scale our production. As one of our first hires manufacturing team you will work very closely our hardware team to make our bring our automated lab to life. You will be responsible for building, testing and and providing feedback on the hardware that our robots need to fully automate customer protocols. A love for operating in an experimental and fast paced environment is a must.
Help build, test, maintain and ship our robotic systems
Follow detailed work instructions and provide feedback to help improve our product and processes
Maintain inventory of our components and finished assemblies
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Strong mechanical intuition and hardware debugging and assembly skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly follow written instructions
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Experience building, testing, and scaling hardware
A hacker’s mindset and are a quick learner
Willingness to cross discipline boundaries to solve a problem
Know your way around rapid prototyping technology
A willingness to wear many hats / a flexible attitude towards responsibilities and scope
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Ability to read, interpret and work from technical drawings
Experience with CAD and PLM packages
Knowledge of robotics, motion control, camera, force/torque sensors
Experience or familiarity with robot arm manipulators
Experience working in a laboratory or research environment

This position is 100% in-person, you must be able to come on-site to our San Francisco office. We offer relocation benefits for applicants who need to relocate.
