Job Purpose
The Sales Development Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving SAVii’s acquisition objectives by overseeing and driving the end-to-end lead generation, prospecting, and conversion strategy across B2B channels. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating product awareness/demand, and ensuring successful meeting conversions, while also managing and developing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
With the introduction of SAVii’s payroll product and continuous expansion goals, the Sales Development Manager ensures efficient pipeline creation, high-quality prospect engagement, and seamless team execution toward revenue targets.
In addition to leadership responsibilities, this role includes direct individual contributor duties focused on a designated target territory. The Sales Development Manager is expected to personally schedule and conduct appointments with key target accounts to model best practices and ensure strategic pipeline growth.
Your Impact: What You’ll Do
Lead, mentor, and performance-manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)Set clear activity, pipeline, and conversion targets for SDRs and monitor their KPIsConduct regular coaching, call reviews, and skill-building sessions to ensure consistent team performanceCollaborate with the Head of Sales Development to refine team structure, workflows, and resource allocationIdentify and target potential B2B clients through market research, industry mapping, and strategic prospecting activitiesDevelop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and sales opportunitiesEnsure SDRs adhere to prospecting best practices and generate consistent, high-quality lead outputBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential client stakeholdersUnderstand client needs and propose tailored solutions aligned with SAVii’s product offeringsEnsure timely follow-ups and smooth handovers between SDRs, Sales, and Account Management teamsDevelop and implement effective strategies to increase meeting acceptance, attendance, and conversion ratesPrepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to move prospects along the funnelEvaluate team outreach strategies and continuously optimize messaging and targetingRepresent SAVii at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking eventsTrain and guide SDRs on event prospecting strategies and executionCollect, manage, and ensure prompt follow-up on leads generated from eventsStay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities across employee wellness and payroll solutionsProvide insights and data-driven recommendations to refine sales and acquisition strategiesEnsure accurate and up-to-date documentation of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRMOversee SDR reporting and consolidate team performance metrics for management reviewAnalyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementRepresent the company in virtual or in-person speaking engagements, workshops, and webinarsDeliver financial education sessions to target companies as part of SAVii’s outreach and brand-building initiativesPerform additional tasks assigned by authorized representatives of the Employer, whether through written directive or oral instruction
What We’re Looking For: Skills & Experience
Minimum 2+ years of B2B acquisition and field sales experience (required)Experience leading or mentoring SDRs or sales teams preferredStrong oral and written communication skills with excellent listening abilitiesStrong research skills and ability to articulate product value propositions effectivelyBachelor's degree in a four-year post-secondary program (preferred)Residing in Metro Manila (preferred)
