Infinite Machine is hiring a Sales Director who will build our commercial engine from the ground up, owning the entire customer journey from first touchpoint to delivery and beyond. This is a rare opportunity to shape the sales organization of a vehicle brand at its most formative stage.
You'll lead both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and B2B sales efforts, developing the playbook that will scale as we grow. This role demands a builder's mindset: someone who thrives in ambiguity, leads from the front, and has a genuine passion for exceptional vehicles and the discerning clients who drive them.
You will work across marketing, product, and operations to ensure that every partner, dealer, and fleet operator experiences a frictionless, premium experience. This is a foundational role that sets the tone for how Infinite Machine expands our reach.
Develop and execute Infinite Machine's go-to-market sales strategy across DTC and B2B channels
Own revenue targets and build accurate forecasting models from first principles
Create and refine the sales playbook—from lead qualification to close to delivery handoff
Define pricing strategies, incentive structures, and reservation-to-purchase conversion programs
Cultivate relationships with private clients
Design and deliver a white-glove purchase and delivery experience befitting a luxury marque
Build a referral and collector network that drives organic demand
Partner with Marketing to craft compelling narratives and experiential events that convert interest into orders
Identify and close strategic B2B opportunities: corporate fleets, hospitality partners, and luxury rental/subscription services
Develop enterprise sales processes including RFP response, contract negotiation, and account management
Build relationships with executives and procurement leaders at target organizations
Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team as we scale
Document repeatable processes—objection handling, demo scripts, CRM workflows—that enable consistent execution
Select and implement sales technology stack (CRM, sales engagement, analytics)
Establish KPIs and reporting cadences that drive accountability and continuous improvement
Proven track record: 8+ years in sales with 3+ years in leadership, consistently exceeding quota (100%+ attainment)
Luxury or premium experience: Background in luxury automotive, aviation, yachts, real estate, fine art, or high-end hospitality—you understand HNW/UHNW client expectations
Builder mentality: You've created sales processes from scratch at a growth-stage company, not just inherited them
Lead from the front: You're hands-on—comfortable taking calls, running demos, and closing deals alongside your team
Cross-functional collaborator: Experience partnering with Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver seamless customer experiences
Relationship architect: You build long-term, trust-based relationships—not transactional interactions
Vehicle passion: Genuine enthusiasm for exceptional vehicles and the evolution of mobility
Travel ready: Willing to travel 30–50% for client meetings, events, and team coaching
Experience with direct-to-consumer vehicle sales models (Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, Polestar)
Network of HNW/UHNW contacts or collectors
Familiarity with EV technology and sustainability narratives
Experience launching a new vehicle brand or product line
